Table Saw with Value-Added Feature -- A Beer Holder

You're going to saw little sticks and saw little sticks untill someone loses an eye a thumb!

Makita thought of everything when they made this table saw.

Even though the motor bearings now complain a bit, this table saw (circa 1978) still runs well and true to this day. The table is aluminum, which is light and non-rusting. The better table saws will have a cast-iron table, which won't bend or warp (I'm sure that Makita makes these as well).

Clever little hole on right is meant to accommodate a router bolted upside down from underneath. (now there's a way to lose a thumb!)

Look bud!   Save your thumbs! That hole makes for a convenient refreshment holder -- which is much more practical than a router platform if you were to ask me. But you haven't asked me, have you! So there you are... questionless... so go stand in the corner until you can come up with a question of import.

Unplug the table saw before using this value-added feature.

Never cut when half-cut. If you feel you have to drink to function, your drinking habit has snuck up on you.
